Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on the 1st October 1995. Her work is recognized as an actor in the film Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) as well as Chrissie's Content House

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers. Both are careers she's taken up. The actress made her debut when she was just nine years old, in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988 the film of Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played in the role of Cristina Comencini's Zoo. The actress played Nanni Moretti's daughter in the next time in Red Wood Pigeon (also directed Moretti) (1989). Close Friends (written and directed by Michele Placido) was when Asia's acting career took off. The roles she played changed from being very young to becoming more mature. The film received a great reception during the Cannes International Film Festival. Trauma (1996) as well as The Stendhal Syndrome are two other movies she made with her famous father. The Phantom of the Opera The film, made in collaboration with her father who passed away, is the third of three movies she's been involved in. The other two were Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni employed her deeply absorbed and intense style of acting in Condannato a nozze. Patrice Chereau directed Queen Margot as well. She had the role of the physically challenged girl in that film. The year 1995 was the first time she starred with Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion as played by Peter Del Monte. This role won her both the David di Donatello award (for the best actor) and the Grolla de Oro. Asia began directing for an occupation in the year 1994. Her debut short film was Prospettive. The documentary she wrote about her father followed by Abel/Asia (1998) which was a movie that won a prize in the Rome Film Festival in 1998. They were the two films she directed between 1996 and 1998. In 1999 Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), in which she was the leading actress and author for the script. It came out on the 20th of May, 2000, in Italy along with the rest of world. The film won awards at the Williamsburg Festival of Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After having directed a number of music videos she had Anna Lou. In 2002 she starred in The Red Siren by Olivier Megaton alongside Jean-Marc Bar as well as the action-packed film directed of Rob Cohen, with Vin Diesel. Asia has also written several short stories which have been published by many magazines.
